Only First Letter of Edited Link is Linked

Description of problem:

Steps to reproduce:
1. Make a link.
2. Highlight it.
3. Start typing.

Expected result: New text should be linked. Or, maybe the link should disappear?

Actual result: The first letter is linked, the rest are not.
