Does autosave included with TinyMCE 3.4.4 actually work? I am not seeing anything loaded,

This thread is about the TinyAutoSave plugin that I wrote, not the built-in plugin.  So if you're having problems with the built-in plugin, you should ask for support in a different thread.

BTW, the TinyAutoSave plugin continues working great with TinyMCE 3.x.  I use it in my production website.

I installed tinyautosave and I think something did get saved locally, but I have a few questions:

Does autosave included with TinyMCE 3.4.4 actually work? I am not seeing anything loaded, using plugins 'autosave', 'restoredraft' <-- maybe that needs to be declared somewhere else?

to add some more info:

I see the hasDrafts() method return false when I manually exec it in the Console after making a change in the wysyiwg editor. tinyMCE.activeEditor.plugins.autosave.hasDrafts(); is returning false.

The localStorage is something I'm not familiar with, so I don't understand how to monitor it for changes, and I can't get at a breakpoint where I want in JS, because its going through Drupal and using a compressed version of the plugin.

I click on "Random Characters" button and after that on "Oops, Refreshed Page" button. The "restore" icon is always greyed. What is my mistake? Or is here a problem with tinymce 3.4.4?

Additional: In Firefox 3 I get 2 Messageboxes, in Opera 11.50 I get nothing.

How do you create a new language package for such a plugin ?

I've verified functinality and IE7, IE9, and Chrome so far. The editor initiallizes as expected. The autosave triggers (as indicated by the animation). The data is restored upon later returning to the page and clicking the restore button.

You can download the new release of TinyAutoSave (version 2.1.3) at http://tinyautosave.googlecode.com/

The new release fixes the problem with IE6 and IE7, where the editor won't finish loading after you upgrade to the latest version of TinyMCE (currently 3.4).
