About "producing a BR on enter by default and only split pre tags when hitting shift+enter" feature that came out with beta2. This "shift+enter" does work but it would be nice if the dropdown could work also, because it's hard to tell my users about this combo shortcut as most of them would just use the toolbar dropdown which right now is not working as expected.

1. I select "Preformatted" on the dropdown and type a line
2. I hit enter to move to the next line
3. Then, I change back to "Paragraph" on the dropdown hoping to continue with

on the 2nd line instead of

4. But it change the 1st line I just typed above to

as well. It'd be nice if it can just behave like "shift+enter" here

Thanks for the latest version.
This version fixed a major defect in my project.
The page did not save and threw "undefined" exception.
I was unable to fix the issue. Thankfully the 3.5b3 is released.

When is the final 3.5 version releasing?

This new beta version fixes a few issues with the latest beta but also brings a few important fixes for other bugs and issues see the changelog for details.

See the previous 3.5 beta releases for specific feature enhancements.
