Topic: Multiple textareas

I have two textareas on my page, I would like one of the textarea to be just a regular textarea(not converted to TinyMCE).

Is this possible?

I would like to know this also.
Is this possible? And if so, how?

Re: Multiple textareas

Have a look at the examples:
http://rorlach.de/mediawiki/samples/sample007.php

simply strip one of the two init calls.

I dont think this is what they are asking.  They want one of the textareas to have the tinyMCE and one to be no MCE at all... Iam actually looking for this too..

Re: Multiple textareas

Just change the mode in the init().

Right now it's probably

mode : "textareas",

so change that to

mode : "exact",
elements : "elm1,elm2"

in the elements line, put the name of the textarea or DIV you want to change into a tinyMCE instance.

It's right there in the documentation: http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/tinymce/do … _mode.html
