Topic: popup blocker error

We have one client machine running IE8 that gives the error

"Sorry, but we have noticed that your popup-blocker has disabled a window that provides application functionality. You will need to disable popup blocking on this site in order to utilize this tool"

when clicking on the image button in tinyMCE.

We have disabled popup blocking for the site.

We have disabled popup blocking completely.

Filemanager will popup and the html popup will come up.

It works on another machine with exactly the same version of IE and no problems in Firefox.

We have cleared the cache on the browser.

Ensured we have the latest version of imagemanger.

Has anyone a suggestion as to what I can try now?

Thanks
DREW

Re: popup blocker error

Hi,

I have a client who is reporting that they are seeing this exact message in IE8 when attempting to open the Filemanager. It is working perfectly for me on a number of PC's and a variety of browsers, does anyone have a solution for this. I appreciate it's looking like an IE8 issue but there must be a work-around.

Anthony.

Re: popup blocker error

Use the inline dialogs for the filemanager with tinymce and it shouldn't be an issue with popup blockers.

I wasn't sure how to use Spocke's advice in the previous post until I realized that inlinepopups is a TinyMCE plugin:
