Topic: Resize image in absolute position bug (edit width video exemple)

Hello,

I get an error when I try to edit the text with an image.

My image is absolutely positioned.

When I create the document for the first time, the resizing of the image works, Propertie width and height of the html change correctly.
When I reopened my document and I want to resize my image, it does not work. Propertie The width and height do not change.

I do not understand why ....

Sorry for my English

Thank you in advance

Re: Resize image in absolute position bug (edit width video exemple)

I am coming across the same issue.  I found this out when trying to reposition images and the same things happens.  When I reposition an image after the first time, the HTML never gets updated.  What is weird is that if I move an image and also update some other content (like add a word) that does change in the html.

If I edit the html, then click update, the change propagates the the WYSIWYG view, but this does not really work as I have a few people that don't know html that are using my page so the absolute positioning needs to work correctly.

You can also reproduce this by going to the "try it" page, and clicking on the image and changing it to absolute.  Then submit the page, then click your browser back button.  Then try to reposition the image again, and hit preview and you will notice that it does not move at all.

Something is clearly getting processed wrong when the page gets loaded and there is an absolute image in the text field already. Hopefully there is a solution out there??

I am having this same exact issue.

Issue:
When you move an image using absolute positioning then click update (or save). Then go back and move that same image again - after you click update (or save) you will notice that the image does not move to the new position.

Does anyone know how to fix this??? It's driving me crazy trying to figure out a solution.

Worse, absolute positioning in TinyMCE is 100% broken in Chrome sad

You can see this by just trying to use the "Insert New Layer" in the lower-left corner of the TinyMCE demo page: http://www.tinymce.com/tryit/full.php
