Topic: How to insert image with absolute URL

I'm trying to insert an image using the image button and entering an absolute url in the url field. When I submit the form it changes the url from this

http://www.myurl.com/images/features/lumines.jpg

to this

<img height="1" src="../"../images/features/lumines.jpg/"" width="1" border="0" />

How can I have it set to the absolute url?

Re: How to insert image with absolute URL

RTFM!

[relative_urls] True/False option. If this option is enabled absolute URLs are converted to relative URLs. The default state of this option is true.

make sure in the javascript initialization you are using, that you have this:

    relative_urls : "false"

then yer set.

Re: How to insert image with absolute URL

Hey boys and girls I got the same problem and tried the "relative_urls : true" option.
But all it does is change the url from:

..src="../../images/... to ...src="/images/...

Am I missing sth.?

Any help appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Hias!

humm I tested and found where to fix it, just at the init script on the page displaying tinymce:

<script type="text/javascript">
    tinyMCE.init({

        // add these two lines for absolute urls
        remove_script_host : false,
        convert_urls : false,

               // General options
        mode : "textareas",
        theme : "advanced",
