Hello
i have bought lately the image manager and the multiple image upload does not work in windows 7, while on windows xp (same browsers and same website) i can select between "choose files" button or basic uploader) on windows 7 comes up only the basic uploader.

You need a modern browser, or flash, silverlight etc for it to work. IE9 doesn't have upload support.
well, Chrome 19 should be modern enough (does exist an oldfashoned browser for win7?) but with flash you could be right as my clients pc is brand new from the shop and flash plugin not yet installed.

Chrome 19 works just fine. Make sure you don't have any ad blockers or other extensions that would disable file upload or normal behavior of the browser.
Verified the upload to initialize on using Chrome 19 on XP:

Chrome HTML5 upload should work fine, noone else has reported issues with this.
Do they have some kind of proxy or something that might fiddle with the content sent/received?
I have checked it again and it was the missing flash plugin in the different browsers, now it works perfectly again :-)
