Topic: End User Guide on UI

I've integrated ImageManager into a project.  I'm now tasked with writing instructions or a help file on how to use ImageManager.  I can't seem to find anything directed at users - not developers.  Does such a help file exist?

Before I get blasted, yet I know that it is just an editor and that most folks should be able to use it.  Notwithstanding, I still need to come up with a help file for our system.

If such a beast does not exist, are there public examples of help files for the editor.

Re: End User Guide on UI

I guess we should have some user docs. But the problem is the same as with TinyMCE. Since you can configure things in/out the docs needs to be dynamic some how to only include the stuff that the user actually sees. Would be confusing otherwise.

Re: End User Guide on UI

I'm not looking for anything polished, just something to start with that I could modify for my needs.  Since I guess that I'm going to create something for my use, should we start a project, group or repository so that others can contribute and use?

If we wanted to get carried away we could create some sort of dynamic instruction builder where a developer answers some questions and we build a guide.

Re: End User Guide on UI

We are working on 4.0 and it will have a new UI so we won't add any user docs until that is out. But I guess we should think about this and how to add it in the future. Having some form of dynamic documentation seems to be the key.
