I know that there was some discussion about Amazon S3 support where image files would be stored on a designated S3 bucket. Is this feature still in the list? If so, is there an approximate time frame for its availability?
It's in our internal 4.0 alpha backend. So we have S3 support done but not super well tested.
Great. Any idea about when you may be releasing it -- just a ballpark would be fine.
We have already send a version out to a closed group however it's only the PHP version right now.
would this implementation be good to work with S3 only, or can I use similar systems like Rackspace Cloud Files?
Any idea if I can create my own implementation of the File System to see/select images stored on a Rackspace Cloud Files Container? Or for a custom implementation should I be looking at a different place?
